LvivMozArt Festival

Aug. 17, 2017, midnight

The LvivMozArt Festival was founded by Oksana Lyniv, the chief conductor of the Graz Opera House. The manifold program of the festival, containing concerts, opera performances, workshops, lectures and art exhibitions, was intended for a diverse audience. Just as HSC, the team of LvivMozArt Festival is interested in finding new ways of cooperation between Ukraine and Europe, as well as in bringing young talents in artistic contact with well-known masters to pass on the heritage of classical music.

HSC was represented at the festival by the organist Aurore Baal (Basel), who performed a concert in the Dominican Church on the HSC's organ, and by musicologist Angelica Moths (Schola Cantorum Basiliensis), who gave a lecture about Józef Elsner and his opera Amazonki (Amazons).
