A concert with Suzanne Mathé and Ivan Dukhnych at the Lviv Philharmonic

The Lviv Virtuosos chamber orchestra under the direction of Serhiy Burko was founded with twenty of the best musicians from Lviv in 1994. The highly professional musicians, who have performed over 500 concerts worldwide and recorded over 10 CDs, this time performed together with the soloists Susanne Mathé from the Basel string quartet and Ivan Dukhnych, the artistic director of the HSC as part of the 36th international music festival in Lviv.

The concert was performed under the motto "Classic for Peace". Under the direction of Susanne Mathé and Ivan Dukhnych, a program consisting solely of Bach's works was performed: the violin concertos in A minor (BWV 1041) and E major (BWV 1042), the concerto for two violins in D minor (BWV 1043) and the Brandenburg concerto No. 3 (BWV 1048).
